Frequently Asked Questions

01

Will the treatment be covered by insurance?

Yes! However, please check with your insurance company first. The cost of treatment or number of sessions covered varies with companies. I do not do direct claims, so you will have to claim back from your insurance company after paying. For an admin fee of £10, I am happy to send off your claim for you.

04

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

Please ensure other pets or children are monitored and potentially separate from the area where treatment is being performed. This is to allow me to concentrate and helps promote a relaxed environement for maximum treatment benefit.

02

How do I book?

To book, please contact me by using details on my "CONTACT" page. I will need to take some details in order to gain veterinary consent. If preferred, please download the veterinary consent form on my "HOME" page and take this to your vet for them to sign.

06

Why is it important to get veterinary consent and history?

According to the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1966), it is a legal requirement for Veterinary Physiotherapists to gain consent. This is to ensure the treatment provided is safe, effective and covered by insurance. It is important I also recieve history to identify possible previous injuries, medications or health conditions that may influence treatment I perform.
